Paste Does It Again

I’m not sure how I managed without this app for so long. It’s the pefect combination of execution with design. There’s certain apps that enable you to do more with your Mac and this is one of my favorites.

Fantastic app!

My review is simple: after using this app for just a few days I quickly found I could not live without it.

What more can I say...

Read all the other reviews. And it keeps getting better. What more can you ask for in an app?

The best clipboard manager, hands-down

Update 3: PLEASE add the ability to assign a title to snippets to aid in organization/quick recognizion! Thanks! Update 2: I have decided that I still really like it. Update: I have decided that I really like it - just took some getting used to. This is not like other clipboard history apps I have used. This is a full-blown very nice looking application. Feels like the developer put way more effort into this app than anything else I’ve seen (for a clipboard manager). It will take some getting used to, but I think I like it.

New functionality upgrade included!!!

This is great!! It does what it says and more. The more is the fact the developer upgraded to 2.0 free to existing users!

Perfect clipboard app - feature rich, stable, usable

It’s rare that an app can be everything at once - feature rich, eminently usable and remarkably stable. Yet this one is all of them. Thanks to its deep level customizability, its beautiful user interface and its intuitive user experience, its what the Mac OS should have been (and had) from the beginning. I find myself lost without it on other machines - even Windows PCs - that don’t have it.

Best Clipboard app! (almost!)

I owned every single clipborad app out there and this is one of the best-designed ones by far. PROS: - Great design that looks and feels mac native - Ease of organization - Well organized Preferences CONS: - As a designer, I use clipboard apps for copying and pasting elements within Illustrator or Photoshop (or between the two) and as of now Paste does not provide a visual preview of what I copied, in stead, it shows me a bunch of code. - It would be nice to have different clipping preview options. Right now they are huge tiles at the bottom but when you have a lot of clippings that means a LOT of scrolling. It would be nice if they had a vertical preview to the side that had smaller thumbnails. - Another functionality that I miss (that I have on the app Copy’em Paste) is the “Paste as Uppercase / Lowercase / Titlecase” which comes in handy a lot. Great potential in this app and really hope the developer will keep it going and increase app support and functionalities! Will definitely give it 5 stars if I see improvements!

Works well without problems

I’ve tried a number of different clipboard managers, some that are flashy, others simple and straightford. I’ve decided to make Paste my manager because it works without a hitch. The interface is attractive yet simple and gives you a clear idea of what’s on the clipboard. The addition of the pinboard feature makes it even better and more indispensible.

Love at first sight!

Absolutely Loving Paste 2.0!! I used to have something similar but not as pretty or handy. The user experience is nice! Runs smooth. Thanks so much! Won’t regret this purchase!

Still needs features

I tried to like the app and love the style and design , but these things is all I need : 1. I need icloud to sync with my computer at work 2. I need an iPad companion with icloud sync. 4. And the menubar’s icon is ugly. For now I paid to support and maybe these come in the future but still I will use COPIED that for my needs is better.

Obliterated my Mac.

Checked all the tech specs, and I fit right in. With all the great reviews, I gave it a go - what a mistake that was. It absolutely obliterated my iMac. From the time it installed (with the paste helper even), failed to run, uninstalled, tried again, to removing everything. Whatever it did, my computer made every action the most long, drawn out thinker ever. Once I time machined back to before using it, everything was fine. I refuse to try again, lest I feel the urge to waste time going to another previous backup.

Handy App

This is a very handy app! Shift/Command/V and the Paste Menu pops up with everything you ever copy! I copy a TON of stuff so for me its nice to be able to reference back to a link or file I copied … You can even organize them into categories. Well worth the $9.99 … Thanks!

Just what I’ve been looking for!

I’ve used several other clipboard history apps and this one has them all beat! I love the continued support and upgrades. Well worth the cost.

I love this app.

There are a lot of clipboard managers out there, but Paste is hhands down the best one. It’s slick, it’s fast, and it feels like a native feature of the OS. The new update seems amazing!

Very close to ideal

Between my last review and now, Paste became everything I wanted. It sped up and became far more usable. My only remaining complaint is that Id rather have a limited but *very* large clipboard history, other than a simply "infinite" one. Alfreds clipboard manager allows bracketing the clipboard history by time, and I miss this. I find Id like to keep a few months or even a year of history, but I know I copy far more than 500 things in that time.

A Wonderful Utility That Works As Advertised

Paste is a fantastic clipboard management tool with a slick interface that looks like a natural extension of the Aqua user interface of OS X. If you are an author, a student, or anyone else that engages in a great deal of writing, then Paste will be an indespensible tool that makes document editing more simple than ever! Paste keeps a chronlogical log of everything you have copied (including text, images, links and even files), and allows you to organize your copied materials by pinning them to pinboards. Once you’ve used Paste you’ll never want to go back to the default clipboard experience. This application is worth the asking price.

Dissenting opinion

Not for people ho primarily need a text pasteboard. For that you should look to Flycut. Paste is good for graphics designers, etc. If you’re a writer this isn’t the one for you. Developer: please provide alternative access schemes (e.g. verticl drop down) as this will be appealing to many more users.

Best clipboard manager

Awesome app ! Very polished user-interface to manage clipboard history. Highly recommend ! Its supplementary plugin to auto-paste from their website is very handy.

Very useful

This is the best clipboard manager I have used to date because of the UI and pinboard functionality. It would be great to have the ability to label / name the individual snippets with a future release.

Pleasant surprise

Don’t think you need a suped up clipboard manager? Think again...
