Gorgeous and Functional App

I just bought it and I can see this easily fitting into my workflow… I would love it if my clipboard history did syncing with iCloud. That would be amazing! Keep up the good work!

Clipboard Manager Should be FAST

Love the idea, been wanting something like this for years that was this pretty and functional. However, after coming from something like Alfred as a clipboard manager the slow speed on this is a dealbreaker. It reminds me of Mac OS spaces and it’s .5x animations…

The utility

I didnt know I needed! Sounded like an interesting utilty and was on sale cheap. I wasnt sure if Id end up using it like so many other clipboard utilites that ended up in the junk drawer. Not so with this. Simple operation, beautiful design, and just plain useful. Too many clipboard utilities present awkward-to-navigate lists, have too many function keys I cant remember, complex operation. This one simply copies everything and one key gives me a very easy list scrolling list to see my clip history and the app Im working with. Ive never had an error, crash or other issue, it just works. I highly recommend this utility to anyone, its clipboard history done right.

Excellent Excellent Excellent

Honestly, best support, best app. I absolutley love this. If you are considering buying this. DO IT NOW I SAY. - Slick interface - Saves my Bee Hind (buttox) when working on multiple things at once and the CMD-Z doesn’t bring up something I accidently cut on a different document.

needs a selective pasteboard removal

Excellent little app that as a writer been making good use of - took me a while to add the correct rules in regards to insolating apps (Ie graphics app) and the odd app that handles confidentail app. Which leads me to a feature request the ability to remove individual paste baord of infomation without clear the entire history.

50% success rate. The search continues...

What I loved about the twenty-five or so other ones I’ve tried (that went away for whatever reason), is that I could just click the menu bar item and get a list of what I want to paste… well, Paste will have none of that. You have to proactively open it and get squares across the bottom of the screen, double-click your choice, and then paste all over again. That’s lame, but the real deal-breaker here is the fact that it just plain doesn’t work half the time. I copy, I paste, but it pastes something old. The thing I just copied…? Didn’t copy. Why? Don’t know. I’ve actually started hitting Command-C about four or five times just to be sure… and that’s no way to live. So, no, Paste is not the app you’re looking for. Move along. Sigh.

Brilliant.

Beautiful, intuitive, performant. No complaints. Do you have that little twitch before hitting CMD-C because you’re scared to overwrite whatever was in your paste bin? Do you ever hit CMD-V into a text document to see what was in your pastebin before you copy something else? Stop! Paste is here to help.

Pretty basic

After reading reviews I was pretty excited to try this program out, but I found it to be pretty basic. You can search entries and paste without formatting pretty easily, but the useful features end there. I don’t often need to share a cliboard entry, and if I did, I would likely just paste into some mode of sharing rather than use the built in share feature. It would be a lot better if you could edit a clipboard entry after you had copied it, that would make this program awesome. You can only view the clipboard entry, and even then, if the entry is long you can only see the first part of it. Even being able to view the entire thing would make the program a lot better. As it stands now, I’ll probably be looking for a different clipboard manager, this one just doesn’t have enough features. I wish they made Ditto for Mac.

Recently purchased Paste and downloaded the suggested Paste Helper.

Thanks to all the Great Folks at WirelessHeads. I appreciate the help, suggestions, and tips they gave me. I can see right now that Paste and Paste Helper will be very helpful and will save me lots of time!!!!! Have a Great Day and Keep on Pasting!

Great app!

I just bought this today and it’s great! One thing that I would like to see is the ability to Command- or Shift-Click on items saved in Paste to select them for sharing or deletion. Works great, simple and easy. Also a lifesaver sometimes.

LOVE IT!

It is engineered and designed very well. It honestly feels like a native OS X application, I love using it and would definitely reccomend it!!

A decent step up from Jumpcut/Flycut

Been using Jumpcut (and then Flycut) for the longest time. Its limitation is that you can only copy and paste text, which works most of the time when coding. However when you need to create a 50 page specification document and jumping between Word and PowerPoint, the ability to copy and paste images and rich content is very much wanted. Paste does this decently well, though copying rich content such as a PowerPoint table will result in a big question mark and “Unknown” header, that does take some guesswork. The interface is not too bad but I do wish for a more compact view as the current row of panels take up about a third of the screen, which to me is too much. Looking forward to future updates that will hopefully address the above.

Awesome App

Short of my browser and messaging apps, I think I use this app more than any other app on my Mac. If you’ve never used a clipboard manager, you are missing out. I’ve tried a bunch of others and the interface of this one is by far the best.

A Terrific Task and Time Saver

This does exactly what it says it does—I use graphics and text, but not Ppt files, and have had no trouble, at all. Perfect. I use this as much as any utiity I have and can’t imagine working without it.

This app is a lifesaver

I am a college student and this app saved my life and grades multiple times

Good but different

Update 2: I have decided that I still really like it. Update: I have decided that I really like it - just took some getting used to. This is not like other clipboard history apps I have used. This is a full-blown very nice looking application. Feels like the developer put way more effort into this app than anything else I’ve seen (for a clipboard manager). It will take some getting used to, but I think I like it.

Wow!

Paste is a fantastic and beautiful approach to a clipboard history app! It works amazingly and I use it every day all day in my job as a Designer / Developer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because 1.) you need to install something extra in order to enable “direct paste”, and 2.) the “open at startup” feature gave me a bit of trouble. I’m not sure how/if I did anything to fix it, but it started working eventually. Otherwise, super awesome productivity enhancer!

Beautiful and Well-Designed

This is my favorite of the various clipboard managers Ive used. It works perfectly and is very pleasing visually. I would like to see some way that the copy-panels could be compacted, as its a bit inconvenient that only five of them fit across the screen. Perhaps panels that only contain a few words could be narrower. I would also love to see the inclusion of iCloud syncing across Macs.

Would be five stars but has a serious bug

I love this application. It’s visually appealing and generally works well. I can’t give it five stars, though, because it has a serious bug. Each time it is launched, it displays a message that the license is invalid and offers an option to purchase it from the App Store. When I do this, the App Store just has an “Open” button, which, when clicked, makes Paste start working normally. This is a minor hassle most of the time, but when travelling, especially in an airplane, if I forget to activate Paste before boarding I’m out of luck and can’t use it. Hopefully, the developer will fix this issue and I’ll upgrade my review to five stars.

One minor bug - Says something wrong with the license

By going to the developer’s web site: http://pasteapp.me, you see a link to an article explaining that Apple messed up a security certificate thing, which causes this app and others, to misbehave. They say uninstalling and reinstalling will prevent the “Something is wrong with your license” problem. Note to developer: How about putting a link to your site somewhere in the app? The only link I found was at the corner of this text field.
