Paste - Clipboard Manager App Reviews

crashing a lot recently

I’m getting a lot of crashes on el capitain. Hopefully they’re fixed soon, I’d like to stick with Paste but the crashing is making it difficult. I might have to start looking for alternatives.

I use this many times a day - a real life saver

For the price, it’s a bargain. I haven’t had any crashes and have far more problems with much more expensive apps. I use this as a way of “saving” my text for later, and then retrieve it any time I want. I use it every day and highly recommend it.

Very close to ideal

This is the paste manager I’d recommend if not for a few of minor issues. * It’s slow. The transition it uses to reveal itself is unquestionably beautiful, but it’s slower than simply popping something up (à la Alfred or Spotlight). * Few items fit on the screen at once, even if the items themselves are small. Alternative views might be welcome, rather than large square shapes containing each clipboard history item. * You can have a small history, but if you want something extensive, you have to choose between 500 items or *infinite*. Alfred’s clipboard manager supports time-bracketed history (up to three months) which is ideal. I wouldn’t want a few very pasty days to knock historical items out. * No ability to pin items to your history, which might be nice to have but not necessary. As it is, this is a very accomplished app.

FIX THE CRASHES!

This is getting ridiculous!

Best one I’ve used!

Absolutely love this little utility! Before trying it out I spoke with the developer, he was very friendly and fast to respond which is what I love to see from any app developer. Now the app: first of all, the UI is beautiful, it really fits into the Apple system. As a web dev, I spend a lot of time copying and pasting various snippets, etc. This does exactly what I needed it to do, it works great and have not had any problems with the app whatsoever. Highly recommended, I used this 7 times within the first hour of installing it!

Great in Concept, Crashes, Doesn’t Strip Formatting

I got this for access to multiple cllpboard saves, but also for stripping formatting in text which is important to my work. The format stripping doesn’t work although it is checked in my Preferences, it never has. The access to Paste clipboard is great and I love it when it works, but it’s been crashing constantly, I have to keep the sound on so that I know whether or not it is on or crashed again. Please fix as it has great bones, but doesn’t work on El Capitan very well.

Fantastic Design and Performance

Paste is a clean, simple, easy to use clipboard manager that does exactly what you would expect while looking and performaning fantastic at the same time. Using Paste saves me a great deal of time throughout my work day!

I no longer have a use for Alfred 2’s clipboard history.

Even though I still use Alfred on a daily basis, the clipboard history part of the app has been replaced by Paste now. The beautiful time-machine esque history browser is unmatched not only in aesthetics but also in powerful search functinos. The one feature I’d like to see though is more complex control over the history. Right now the options jump from 500 - Unlimited items. How about doing it Alfred style and saving history based on time periods? As a software engineer it’s pretty common for me to be referencing the same parts of code all week long; so being able to have a flexible history size is pretty crucial for people who copy/paste hundreds of times a day. Once I see some sort of solution for this issue I’ll bump it up to 5 stars. Nice work guys.

Helpfull tool

Perty usefull tool, like it.

So Useful

I got this app and have enjoyed it. It works seemlessly in the background and fits perfectly with the UI. The design is superb and elegant. It fits right into Yosemite and El Capitan. This app has proven itself extremely useful and I am constanly using it to find my recent copies. I have not found a single issue with it. This app is a wise investment!
